How to Handle the Feature Objection in Sales For Your Business

Here’s how to handle a customer that gives you the feature objection.


In this, there are certain features that the customer needs/wants and they aren't being met.


Here, you have 2 questions to ask yourself:

  1. Is the feature they want something that can be put in or at least in the queue for the future? If so, emphasize that.

  2. What is the point of that feature? What's the job it gets done? Maybe your product has a different feature or something that just looks different from what the customer is used to, that gets the same job done? If so, emphasize that and walk them through the usability.
